Sure it's not a problem when it's cold, but as someone who lives in a county with extremely hot and humid summers, i know exactly how hot these plastic phones can get

More like a Failed Edition than Fan Edition. It's not exactly cheap either for fan to buy. No 3.5mm headphones jack, no sd card slot where's the thing fan really wanted from their phone.

With secondhand S21 now going for as low as $500, I'm not sure if I will buy this FE since it won't have a headphone jack or microSD card support anyway.

Narazumono, 02 Dec 2021I don't use a case so that's exactly why i care a... moreIt's actually the other way around, glass heats up faster than plastic because plastic is a better insulator than glass also want mention that glass is way more fragile when dropped compare to plastic which leaves you the option to either deal with broken glass shards in your hands or spend money to repair the back panel. One isn't 100% better than the other it just comes down the to personal preference

It could barely manage 3 hours SOT. It seems that especially when using dual SIMs the Exynos is hopeless in terms of power management.

Plastic scratches too easily, collects too much dust and heats up like crazy. Phones with an alumimum frame and glass back feel the best in hand

Huawei is out of the way, but there are other brands that are better than what you have to offer

Even Sony couldn't tame it despite their excellent battery optimization software. That is why I'm not interested in buying any 2021 flagship Android smartphone with 888, not even Sony's Xperia 1 Mk3 and Xperia 5 Mk3.

No thanks! I'd rather go buy a Note 10+/Note 20 Ultra with SD card slot with better quality materials, bigger display, better resolution, better DPI, better software support, better fast charging. I don't care one bit about the cameras.
The SD 888 seems to be SD 810 problem all over again. Overheating.
What makes me say no from the start is the lack of the SD card slot. I instantly don't care about this phone just because it doesn't have my favorite feature. My 1TB Sandisk Extreme Pro SD card is waiting for a new home :) Hello Sony?

I think using glass is just another way for companies to get you to buy a new phone or like Apple, charge you $500 to get it fixed. Why have a nicely designed phone that feels good in your hand then have to put a case on it? If it does break its still cheaper getting it fixed than the money you spend on a case.

who's gonna buy this in 2022? if it has a better pricing than maybe sure.. I think a lot of other options for this in 2022..
