... moreI'm pretty sure that this phone will never be released in the global market, it will probably be China only, and because Huawei is a really valued brand in China this phone will probably still be successful
In China GMS doesn't really matter, and Samsung is pretty unpopular in China so this will probably be the choice of flip style foldable phone for most Chinese consumers.

Had the flip3, sent back after a week, what is the point in it if you have to reduce screen resolution etc in order to get it to last the day, the reason you pay big money for a flagship end phone is for the specs not to go and reduce the effect of the specs due to the p poor battery thrown in the thin, plus the inferior antenna fitted in the phone is a disgrace and picks up no where near as stronger signal than even the low end spec phones, huawei if they had Google services would have already blown apple and Samsung out of the water but this is all about profit in the USA with many senators having shares in apple to which if huawei came into USA would distroy apple share price due to the fact their phones are better and more innivative

- No useful cover display
- No Google services
- Samsung and Motorola are more reputable with flips
Just another Chinese foldable nobody wants like the other ones.

I love my Flip 3 and Razr 5G and have no urge to upgrade until I'm really forced to. Battery life is fine for my needs since I carry them both and have the 25600 mAh Sherpa 100PD Power Bank always in my car. Great recommendation from Michael Fisher 2 years ago. But I believe foldables may always remain niche. I just don't see flip phones ever catching on like they were 20 years ago.
Flip phones will only cater to folks like me very similar to how the original iPhone SE and 12 and 13 minis appeals to a very small demographic of users. It's like the Steam Deck will never have the same audience as the Switch. I don't see the Fold and Duo catching on either. Not for their outrageous prices. Most people only care about price. They don't care of the innovations or being different.
Shame that foldables may never catch on. I love my foldable clamshells. I have this Old Navy coat with pockets that has a zipper. So easy to put my Flip 3 in there. If say I had a Pixel 6, I'd hate putting it there because it's so tall. Flip phones are the best for portability while still getting the big, tall display. And it's quite fun watching videos from the cover display.

Nothing was worse than having all of these phon... moreand yet non of them do, perhaps the first gen models did, not that i am aware off though, but the devices are much sturdier nowadays now the tech has had 3 or 4 years to mature, and it will only get better, flip phones are an excellent way to shrink down the ever expanding screen sizes, better for the consumer, as small phones clearly have no place in modern society, like iphone mini and xperias of old

Motorola Razr 5G still has the best cover display from any foldable flip phone so far. Huawei Mate V looks like the unreleased TCL one.
