Very happy with my Redmi Note 10 Pro. Have yet to find any alternative. Closest might be Samsung Galaxy, A series. Need the 3.5mm audio socket, with FM radio. The inbuilt IR blaster is useful, but only on the Redmi.

Cash, 06 Dec 2021Looks like that cancer punch hole still cant goWhat do you want it to be replaced with? Until the under-display selfie is sorted out, the punch hole is the next best thing. Of course, some really want the pop up camera but that doesn't seem to be popular with phone makers.

If you are buying Redmi/Poco phone get it for flashing roms. Especially snapdragon versions. Hell lot better experience. But after price cut. Redmi Note sells well in my country just for the same reason. Redmi Note 5 Pro is still running great with 5-6 hours of SOT. Same with Redmi Note 7 Pro/9 Pro/10 Pro. Excellent value for money devices as low as 140USD.

I would keep it until it gives up.
2022 seems to be minor enhancements year, where they refresh designs and increase overall price because of market etc.

Why no under display camera? We know they have the tech from the mix 4

Q1 2022 is looking to be an interesting time. Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi and Oppo all have promising phones coming out. Perhaps an upgrade from my Note 10 Plus 5G might finally be a sensible option. Up until now there just really hasn't been anything worth upgrading to.

Xiaomi is releasing too many samey phones now

The Redmi k40pro+ was 3,699rmb in China (the equivalent of $580) and it had a completely midrange camera setup (the same rear cameras as the Redmi note 9 pro). No way in the world this would be anywhere near $450 even in China. Outside of China it will be rebranded and cost a lot more

Wow, if they could keep this below $450 for the pro+ and trickle down pricing as model goes down, this will surely disrupt the market ,I guess they could just have this 4 model rebranded to Poco and will sell like hot cakes. With that Socs alone( sd8g1, sd870, D9000,and D7000), it will render all socs obsolete in 2021.
