Google Maps is fully available for iOS. Apple may have removed the original google maps app in favour of their own maps app but Google have released a fully featured google maps app on the appstore...

This is just a market stunt by apple to make believe that the chinese are buying their phones and to create a hype. The news already said from friday that the chinese werent buying the phones because they werent innovative and the prices were too high ,so its a misleadindg statement by apple to claim this sale now.

Screen is far too small and low res to compete with high end phones these days. Apple is stuck with iOS poor layout model that cannot handle various screen sizes. So many 440ppi 5 inch screens these days. Even their 7 inch iPad is low res and cannot compete.

AnonD-46560, 17 Dec 2012Hmm so you think iPhone users don't enjoy latest technology... moreThis entertains me.
It's also totally true. I don't feel left behind at all with my iPhone 5. It's quite simple, if you like iPhone, but one, if you like Android, buy that.
Spending your time sat on here moaning about everything you think is wrong with a product you don't like, isn't going to change anything. Just make you look like you have a pretty boring life.

Babara, 17 Dec 2012Speaking of DLNA, I don't even think Apple users know what ... moreHmm so you think iPhone users don't enjoy latest technology and are stuck with old stuff?
Well, my friend, i consider your comment as extremely funny. All the major successfull apps have released on iOS first, be it angry birds, instagram, temple run, and countless other games and utility stuff. Can you name a single app that has released on google play first and later came to iOS or still not availableon iOS and is hugely successfull?? No i am freaking serious, can you just name ONE??
What do you droid guys have that we don't, several homescreens?? Hahaha... And ya, droid offers more customization, i do agree. But iOS is the most stable mobile operating system. The simplicity is the key feature! You don't like it or maybe you can't afford it, that's all fine, but PLEASE do educate yourself! :)

I have used apple products for years, I also know what NFC is. I think a lot of people lack knowledge of NFC because it isn't as global as you make it out to be.
Who uses NFC all the time at the moment?. No doubt this response will label me as an apple fanboy, but then that's the kind of response I expect from someone with your standards.
Spend less time hating and more time learning how to make a useful and intelligent response.

Someone believes the iPhone 5 is the finest bit of kit, because of your childish hate towards apple. You regard it as nonsense and assume they know nothing.
Open your mind and realise that in the phone world these days, things are so close between phones, that it comes down to personal preference.
Don't just hate because someone doesn't have the same opinion as you, otherwise you're just showing what a lonely, self centered person you are.
