If it only supports 65W charging, then not considering at all. Especially when it uses Samsung screen which consumed battery faster.

Seems the BBK group of Oppo, One plus, Vivo and realme are losing their advantage of fast charging to Xiaomi.

Looking forward to the full spec reveal. I'm in the US and I imported the realme 7 5G for my wife and it has been great. Her LG G8x had terrible battery life, so I got her the realme and it has performed surprisingly well. The Dart charging is great. This could replace my Galaxy, if it's decent.

I am cautiously optimistic because of this being considered their first flagship (or did I misread the marketing?).

Also, no 4-5 isn't overkill. A flagship can easily last you half a decade, I had a Moto midranger that was reliable for 6 years, a good chunk of Pixel users also hold onto their devices for quite a while.

PixelFan, 08 Dec 2021So, how are these guys with OS updates? Realme X2 Pro user here - it's horrible. Good phone, especially when you consider the price, but the customer support and software is horrible. With every update they pushed things were just going downhill. They never released proper kernel sources, in RUI 2.0 there's no support for aux lenses in third party apps (eg. GCam), no bootloader unlock option if you're in RUI 2.0 etc. Every interaction with their customer support is headache inducing.

I've said to myself that I'd never get a Realme again purely because of how they treat customers, but I have to be honest that the GT 2 Pro is tempting me if the price is right. Of course I'll wait to see extensive reviews first.

Realme GT Master Explorer edition, Realme GT Neo 2. Everything great except camera. Just GCam will marginally improves the things. Everything under 400USD. Pretty good value for money.

Maybe the UW camera is also the IMX766 since OnePlus & Oppo is already using that? Would be suprised if it was the JN1 tho.

laggdroids, 08 Dec 2021The rear design is somewhat borrowed from Nexus 6P from 2015.Seriously what is wrong with you people? It's a really cool and functional design, looking quite funky at the same time. Are you guys okay with the stove design on the OP10 and island design psychosis on the S22? The world has indeed gone crazy, seems like.
