Well samsung has discontinued all other phones on their site so they will be trying to master these fold and flip phones from now on. Seems like these kinds of phones are now our future.

The beta versions has been out testing for months. Major issues like bricking should have been ironed in the stable version. Samsung just shot itself in the foot this time.

BigDisplay, 08 Dec 2021Lol, one ui just want to beat miui to be the worst updates,... moreLooks like Oneplus is vying for that title too. The Oneplus 9 and 9 Pro are wrecked after update to Android 12.

The Flip, 08 Dec 2021It's still in beta so don't expect it to be stable. No it's not, South Korea has had the release version for a few days now.

Dogspurt, 08 Dec 2021Never be an early adopter. This software isn't a beta version, it should be polished. There were pre-alpha, alpha and multiple beta versions. Who ok-ed this is a nut.

Steve, 08 Dec 2021It's always good to stay clear of new UI or major upda... moreProblem is there are no separate channels for android version and security patches. So if you don't want to update you won't get security patches as well.
Android should have a configuration to select what kind of updates they want to receive - security patches, minor Android updates, major Android updates etc. But the OEMs will not put the effort for keeping all the channels up to date.

Sadly most initial releases suck. Don't know that I could say this is the worst of bunch though

Huh. For any company... Samsung, apple, etc etc.... talking to customer service about bugs is going to be useless. Especially without a proper update to fix it or way to revert back that's easy for the masses.
It will be... is air plane off? Did you you remove the sim card? Have you factory reset it? Well do it again. Hmm still didn't fix it? 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Lol, one ui just want to beat miui to be the worst updates, well done Samsung ✌🏻

And this is why you should never do a major OS update in the first few weeks on whatever OS.

Everyone is rushing to release latest android to get media highlight. OnePlus OOS12 release is the worst ever, even Samsung has issues. Quality is not important in the first stages they think, adopt faster iterations as in Agile methodology. The only problem is that phone is so important nowadays that it should work well!
