I am not a fan of AMAZON, but I am pragmatic and take care of my budget.
Yesterday I had to decide where to buy another BRAUN S9 Pro shaver (the current one died unexpectedly after only 5 years of use).
        The short investigation returned the following prices (for the same set): $ 658 @ shop1, $ 634 @ shop2, and ... $ 370 @AMAZON.
Someone has doubts which store I chose and why?
EU is in some ways Ok, but sometimes it's a bunch of idiots ...

NicoLPFR, 10 Dec 2021And how much do you think Indonesian/Indian workers are paid? 😂Enough to not be a slave.. considering prices in these countries for basic price of standard of living is much lower than in China

Anybody who is serious about stopping the slave labor that is rampant in China does research to see where products are made.
I support that other guy with buying locally / domestically made products.
Every country should have a law that stipulates a minimum of 50% of every product being sold within it's borders should be made domestically. That way China can keep exploiting it's people but also it creates jobs in said countries.

Also a short digging online shows that in 2020 alone Amazon.it first party(not including commissions from third party sells) net sales was 5 billion USD , which definitely netted Amazon more than the fine.

If I were to paraphrase : "Everyone wants to have a fairly rich large consumer base but still hate against The European shared market . Just because they are well regulated. Two wrongs doesn't make a right."
