Ditch the 3rd cam & save $5 or how much it costs. It's useless. iPhone 13 has only 2 cameras on the back and it doesn't make it look any less capable or cheaper because of it.

Anonymous, 09 Dec 2021"60MP selfie cam with a 1/2.8-inch sensor and 1.2μm pi... moreI guess the pixel size is actually 0.61 micrometer, possibly OV60A, though then it would be a 22.3mm² sensor whereas 1/2.8" type has 20mm².

Lack of a telephoto is a dud, but the main and ultrawide sound very promising.

The introductory price is actually 200rmb lower for all models than the prices listed here. 1,799rmb for a snapdragon 888 is undercutting brands like Realme and Redmi by quite a margin. At 2,999rmb this will probably also be the cheapest snapdragon 8 gen 1 phone launched for quite a while. Still they will probably be let down a bit by software like the previous edge s and edge s pro

"60MP selfie cam with a 1/2.8-inch sensor and 1.2μm pixels."
Such specs are literally physically impossible.

$400 for a Snapdragon 888 and 12/256 phone is a great deal. Unfortunately only in China. Globally it will be like maybe $600

AnTuTu score over 1 million? Damn, that's impressive if it's the real score.

$564 for the normal top-spec 12/256 X30? That is a seriously competitive price for a flagship killer smartphone. If there is a Ready For support for that phone, that is an absolute steal. But if it costs $564 in Mainland China, the Global version might cost somewhere between $599 to $699. But that's just my guess.

Anonymous, 09 Dec 2021Those are good prices.that's conversion prices though. conversion prices are never close to actually retail prices

So the X30 is a new phone with new SoC, while the S30 just feels like a rebranded of the G200.
