Sensors on this watch are very weak. Heart rate monitor stops detecting when HR is 160+. Have tried various positions and doesn't help. This watch is OK for a normie who doesnt exercise much but not for an actual semi serious person that exercises and tries to maintain heart rate levels

The GT 3 is not as accurate as even middle/lower-end devices from the likes of Garmin, and nowhere nearly as accurate as the Apple Watch.

Which "plenty of reviewers" could you be refering to? There are not even a lot of reviewers that reviewed Huawei Watch GT 3 and tested it for accuracy, not alone those who say such things as you claim.

I don't know what value watch reviews here bring, since the sensors and algorithms are not properly tested. For example, there are no high HR tests under load and compared to a chest strap. Huawei has mediocre accuracy in general, and plenty of reviewers have already confirmed that this is the case for the GT 3.
Without proper tests, the reviews are meaningles.

yalim, 13 Dec 2021gt3 watch does not pair with android phones at all. iphone ... moreIt does pair with android phones but you have to download the Health app from the Huawei app store (you can download that via Playstore) instead of Googe Play. The one in Google Play hasn't been updated since 2020 because of the Google-Huawei issues. Get the one via the Huawei app store and it works completely fine.
I got my Gt3 paired with a Xiaomi Mi 11 lite and the connection is stable since the first day.

gt3 watch does not pair with android phones at all. iphone pairing is also not stable. there are lots of bugs when even changing a watch face or updating the software. no spotify remote control supported. no notification reply supported. no strava supported. no 3rd party apps supported. no phone dialer supported. no voice assistant supported. spo2 sensor lacks accuracy. this is a midranger smartband only with a big screen.

The watches are great. I am glad with my third Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro but....
The Huawei Health App is the problem for steps counting.
When you ride on a bike the App counts steps during the ride. The watch does not count those steps but in the Health App you see that you made 20.000 steps after a bike ride of 30 miles. So I have to leave my phone at home when I go riding or switch it off.
Huawei knows this problem for several years but brings No solution. It is easy to solve this problem.

How about 32MB of RAM, is it enough...? compared to 4GB of RAM in Huawei Watch 3.

"They"... all the manufacturers need to get rid of the on-screen bezels! The hard exterior bezel is enough of a waste already and taking screen real estate is a BIG no-no!
