12 December 2021

The title is pretty misleading. Most did not care about or want any of the Honor models.

I voted this "none of the above" i.e 50% hated these devices. Why that kinda heading? Just confused

I am still wondering what is more disgusting :
the "quad" curved displays, or the missing microSD
card, 3.5mm jack and FM radio. Or both !?!

+50% of people who vote didn't love the phone, why you say otherwise DEVs?

"Commenters seemed more concerned with the boring stuff – a microSD slot and 3.5 mm headphone jack"
Ha, the guy who made this post must be working for Huawei undercover because only they'll try to convince you that removing features is good and want everyone to accept every $hitty decision these companies make like $heeps

Anonymous, 12 Dec 2021Am I totally crazy, or is everyone completely ignoring the ... moreThe processor is different in both. It's the 778+. For the regular model the screen is also different. It's using a different pixel process (It's not using the Zhou Dongyu pixel arrangement that was on the honor 50) and rear camera module is actually different when you see it in the flesh. The pro model has more differences compared with the 50pro. The screen shape is different and the ultrawide and selfie cam are different and they've added stereo speakers. Also the Honor 50pro had a dual punchole for selfies and that's gone. Still, they are similar enough alright. Don't think there are enough differences to warrant a new release.

rizki1, 12 Dec 2021yes let it be strong in China alone. Honor now the price is... moreThe price of the non pro model is ok. Not cheap or anything but basically the same as the competition from Xiaomi which offers the Civi at almost the same price with very similar specs. The pro model is too expensive alright. Generally, Honor phones are definitely not the best for price to performance ratio since they left Huawei though. A couple of years ago they used to compete with Redmi on price but now they seem to be going the Oppo and Vivo route with a focus on offline sales since the US restrictions and split from Huawei

Am I totally crazy, or is everyone completely ignoring the fact that they re-launched the same phone, and I mean LITERALLY the same phone with additional color options? Like, how is that even "legal"? Same screen, body, cameras, chipset etc.
I do want Honor to succeed but this isn't helping their case.

rizki1, 12 Dec 2021no way, hate it or like it the best chinese phone from low ... moreIt's all personal preference. That's your opinion which is not shared by all. Xiaomi's high end flagships have so far not made a breakthrough like Huawei's did. They still have very little R&D progress compared to the likes of Huawei which I think is the main reason why Huawei's high end flagships became so much more popular than Xiaomi and sold in huge quantities relative to Xiaomi. I think Xiaomi needs to develop their own processor to have any Unique selling point.

I've been waiting for honor to bring out a phone that really catches my eye and the Honor 60 Pro looks like the one for me

I head this phone got like ugliest phone of the century award from may reviewers 😂

no way, hate it or like it the best chinese phone from low end to flagship until today is Xiaomi.

Price too high, midrange specs for flagship price and no international availability.

How do you expect one to buy?
