Sounds brilliant!

You know why people are tired of Sony, don't you? You can't stay honest. You're like that used car salesman you only go to once in your life and we did buy a Sony back in the days.

- infra-red sensor (I never used it, but I see many people still asking for it)
- AM/FM radio (I've used it on old-school phones and I loved it, no internet connection needed)
- replaceable battery (quite handy for people that use the phone a lot)
- 3.5mm jack (DIRECT, analog connection will ALWAYS be better than wireless, tumor causing headphones)
- SD card slot (if a HIGH-END SMARTphone doesn't have it, I'm not interested about the rest of it's specs, price, etc)
- QHD/WQHD displays on the S Series! (🤬 U Samsung!)
- charger in the box(Who would ever use an old charger for the new phone, especially when the new phone has better fast charging?! WHO?! 🤬)
Next to disappear will be the charging port altogether, so that people will have a difficult time rooting their phones. Maybe making it even impossible.
And the only excuse is 'We did that for a bigger battery'. Every time!
How come Sony still has most of those on a high-end flagship and they still have a good battery? Even surpassing with a 4K display!
Samsung is turning more and more into Apple every year. Now, the prices have doubled or tripled, but we have less AND inferior features!
Not to mention that a 2017 flagship phone costs in 2021 exactly the same as when it was launched! I live in Europe btw.
I'm not cheap, but I'd rather go buy a gaming laptop than a featureless phone with a battery that still doesn't last longer than those that actually had good features on them.
Right now, if you'd ask me what phone I would get from Samsung, my answer would be the Note 20 Ultra or the Note 10 plus. The S21 series is a total flop and the S22 will have the same fate among people that really want those features. Especially the SD card slot!

Never really understood this. first came removable batteries, then headphone jack then came SD slot. they got away cause most of us buyers kept supporting them.

Apple started pouring some resources into these much neglected areas. They pick up the pace and retake the leadership. They have some of the best numerical programmers in the world, it should be not to difficult for them to offer industry-leading libraries fro scientific computation.
