So... we'll call the S22 Ultra as Note 21 Ultra. Bring back the tank Samsung! Not all users love holding soap bars and we need reliable devices, Note 20 Ultra is this so make one for us, the non gamers, for the busy people.

8K out of phone is inferior to 1080p from 🎥.
Phone does not have 8K to watch right there.
Almost no commercial computer has power to edit 8K.
Person is just wasting time with 8K.

It's mostly upper midrange than a flagship

AnonD-1029961, 10 Dec 2021S22/S22+ are FHD😒Fast forward in 2025, it's pretty good. Samsung needs to up their charging and chipset(Snapdragon for all over the world) game. Otherwise pretty good phones overall. One UI 4 is pretty good.

Also, why are they, AGAIN, starting at 128GB for what might be a $1,350+ phone!? That's embarrassing. 128GB should not exist in the Ultra; especially considering how much bloat you start with and the fact that it can take 8K video which will devour that storage in minutes.

Samsung will probably close down shop soon. They just can't compete with iPhones and Sony phones anymore. Samsung phones camera are lacking far behind both competitors.
If they pull their usual Exynos-scam on Europe again I suspect their sales will dwindle even further.

If you dont offer SDcard slot than base storage should be at least 256gb
128 is 1 longer vaccation worth of space in some cases (was for me)

The bulky S21 Ultra: 165.1 x 75.6 x 8.9 mm
The camera hump is reduced quite substantially on the S22U according to all the leaks, so... I don't really see where you're seeing the Note 9 as a less bulky phone?

It is disgusting what Samsung is doing. S10 offered 8gb/128gb as base and that was 3 years ago, litteraly 3 years with zero improvement on its flagship phone. All the progress on overpriced ultra crap. Good luck buying Scamsung.

I would pay top dollar if they had a flagship phone that was around the 6inches size

THhe reason I haven't bought a new smartphone in the past 6 years is that the good ones have became way too big to be handled comfortable, the smaller ones are just way too overpriced or simply do not match the specs I want (excellent camera, waterproofness)... I have had some hope for the Xperia 5 III (it is just a bit bigger than I would like it to be and has okayish design) but it is still not available in my country...
(It was sometimes in the past for a few days, but now that I have checked they are out of stock...)

I'm more than willing to pay the price of an Ultra if it was around 6 inches in size which I think is the perfect size
