    Microsoft finally beat Google in its own game . Only if it was sooner , those beautiful lumias would still be alive today . A victory for satya the Devs working on project latte .

Started to develop my own little RPG with Unity and that program surely would benefit from more cores/threads. But yeah, as far as my gaming goes, I am totally satisfied for now.

                          That is basically Google trying to do their own iteration of Xbox Play Anywhere.

So there's Your answer. Also, I pretty much hate online games. Single player RPG-s are my cup of tea and even Cyberpunk runs OK on my 4790k/GTX 1070ti combo at 1080p. I really don't need more atm.

My i7 4790k runs every... moreit depends on how high your expectations while gaming, if you play a lot of shooter games, you would probably need to upgrade, i'd suggest to i5 9th gen (non k) cause these games are cpu dependent and you'll see a great performance increase (imo), at least look for benchmark videos with the cpu you want (using the same gpu as you) and compare them to your own results.

                                      gogcyberpunk, 10 Dec 2021 it's 2022 not 2010, you should have the adequate specs. not all people have latest spec in my country i3 8100 still cost about $150 and this is low end cpu from 4 years ago.
