This phone made me buy a flagship phone thereafter.

Don’t forget there was Le eco or one plus long time before poco showed up..

The Poco F3 is a proper heir to this legacy. This November it costed around 260-270 in Europe. Snap 870, amoled 120hz, ufs 3.1, acceptable cameras, dual speakers, bt5.1, wifi ac, nfc, IR, fast charge, gorilla glass 5...awesome.

regarded as my first smartphone. almost bought redmi note 5 until this beast appeared and I'm glad I hold that impulse, now still using it after more than 3 yrs. After seeing bugs in recent xiaomi model. I think I'll stick to mine.

The reason why Xiaomi can make the Pocophone F1 cheap is that they made sacrifices for the hardware. An AMOLED screen, glass back panel, and stainless steel or aluminium frame won't be possible since they drive up the overall cost. I always personally regard this phone as the Android version of the Apple iPod Touch. You get the budget or entry-level phone build quality but with flagship phone firepower.

Bought in December 2018 and still working just as fine. I've had no problems, got timely software updates and finally installed custom firmware. Really hoping Poco would bring out an actual successor to Poco F1
