Notch is there because of the dual camera, it's not ugly like an iPhone, but most need just one. Well, they will have the V series.

Vivo lost creativity to design an antimainstream smartphone even for a flagship! Look at their all rear back camera. Y, V and X series looking the same. This time this s12 series move backward with an ancient notch and that camera island was taken from oppo reno style.

That back design is lifted straight from Oppo's department. I know they all belong to BBK but I'm pretty much sure they don't work in the same building!

Really old design, and those ugly notches, you're no more in competition vivo, I don't see any better amoled phone of yours in low tier midrangers; just look at oppos f19 or xiaomis note 10.
