As a current S21 owner suffering the same constant random reboot issue as a lot of other S21, S21 + & S21 Ultra owners reported around the globe that Samsung seem unable to fix, I hope Samsung have fully tested this new S22.

can't wait. Samsung is the best!

Anonymous, 13 Dec 2021That's because we reached a point in tech where there ... moreExcellent observation. The technology in smartphones have already evolved to a point where specs don't even matter as much as the overall feel and design and software. Whether it's the SD778, SD690, or SD888, you'll all get a smooth lag-free experience.

I think the only other area that smartphones haven't evolved yet is the battery. I believe that in the near future, we will get new battery tech that will make smartphone batteries more compact while keeping the same capacity. This will allow manufacturers to make batteries that are as big as 10,000mAh without making the device super thick. At least that's what I personally think.

From what I can see on the renders, the cameras have shrunk, which is a good improvement on 2021's best smartphone camera combination. It is also not unlikely that Samsung will also evolve the sensors from last year. They tend to do that every year.

More of the same, with an s21 ultra you have plenty, it is more with an s20 ultra you have a phone 3 more years without problems

talha5007, 13 Dec 2021the current flagships are overkill already, so if we get up... moreThat's because we reached a point in tech where there are only so many things we can improve on
We have everything now. Small bezels, big screens, multiple cameras, high refresh rates and a lot of storage. But companies can't just stop making phones, they'll recycle their phones like Apple did with the iPhone 6, 6s, 7 and 8 until we have some kind of new evolution or trend like small bezels in 2017 and they'll start doing that for several years

the current flagships are overkill already, so if we get upgraded cpu on top of refined yesteryears device, then its enough. its the cpu which makes the most difference on a device. not the ram, or camera.

AnonD-1029961, 13 Dec 2021I said specifications are same Design changes won't i... moreYes it absolutely does improve the phone. Nobody wants to hold a phone that's as heavy and thick as a brick no matter the specs

AnonD-1029961, 13 Dec 2021I said specifications are same Design changes won't i... moreI guess it's your opinion to decide if a redesign makes a phone better or not. For me the redesign for the S22U/N is quite good and improves the phone in some ways, of course the main improvement is bringing back the soul of the Note series and adding an S Pen slot, instead of needing an external case to store it.

But yeah, I agree that the majority of the specs are similar, of course except for the new SD 8 Gen 1 / Exynos 2200 chips and other possible improved specs we don't know about yet.

Its ok that Samsung will halt its Galaxy Note model but instead come with one of the Galaxy S series for its Note replacement in S22 Ultra or S22 Note.

Just SAMSUNG, please do not forget to come up with a gold or better yet a bronze color 😊

AnonD-1029961, 13 Dec 2021Nah this time it's exactly S21U but with better chip ... moreYou can literally see the renders of it in the header of the writeup. It looks nothing like the S21U. It's more a continuation of the Note 20 Ultra, including a chamber for an S Pen.

Other companies give their new flagship a bit improvement like Apple used new IMX7xx sensors but S22 ultra uses the same sensors
It's because Samsung is so good and can't find rivals in Earth-0 companies

                                      AnonD-1029961, 13 Dec 2021It's S21 ultrawhat do you mean its S21Ultra.
Don't tell me this will come with SD 888 or Exynos 2100.
it'll be slightly upgraded from S21Ultra same like every other flagships yearly upgrade pattern. nothing extravagant.
