I don't understand. Are you require to focus on the specs with your eyes? I'm not sure I can focus this close.

And if its focused far, how will it fare in terms of different focusing lengths? Suppose, I was focusing at 10 metres, suddenly it comes to 3 metres, how will the image on specs adjust?
