I have the Z Fold 3 and I kinda dropped my phone onto some rocks by accident it fell out my lap when I got out my truck and it kinda left nicks on the aluminum hinge. That won't come out...I'm really scared for the screens too so those nicks been bothering me. My S21 Ultra on the other hand has a good overall coverage protection with the spigen case with s pen and no problems.

Magnificent Suleiman, 14 Dec 2021You don't get the point. A *fingernail* can irreversib... moreI do get the point. I've owned foldable display phones for nearly two years now. I'm not particularly gentle with them. Yet, the last two phones I damaged the displays on were an S21U with Gorilla Victus glass and a Note 9 with the previous version of the "indestructible" glass. I have dropped my Flip3 more times in 5 months that I have dropped my S21U, as the Flip3 is my daily driver. It doesn't break unless you actively tries to break it.

Like the way the durability of the inside screen was not addressed, and that's the big one, I've seen videos with people able to mark the screen with their fingernail... And since it's that screen that will get the most use IT'S durability of the biggest downfall.

Samsung is very clever. It released this video just before oppo is launching its foldable phone.

You pay as much as an S21+ to get a phone with a screen so fragile you can damage it with your fingernails through normal use. The Flip just doesn't work

A *fingernail* can irreversibly damage the display, the most important part of a smartphone. Why do someone would need a water resistant phone that can't handle a fingernail without breaking itself?

Until its proven by JerryrigEverything aka Zac Nelson Samsung promo have zero value

In South Korea, the number 3 is a lucky number like 8 is. While 4 is bad luck like in China and Japan.

I'm actually born on December 4 and I actually like unlucky numbers like 4 and 13. From my phone experience, 3 and 5 have been a better for me than 4. I do like PS4 more than PS3 though. The best numbers are 2, 3, 5, 7, and 10 (X). Sometimes 1 can be great too like say a PS1 or Essential Phone but most times, they're the worst being a first gen.

Most OEMs don't really get it right until the 2nd to 3rd gen. Even better by the 5th gen. Think Pixel 2 and 3 or the Razr 5G being the 2nd gen. Note 7 was really the Note 6. The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge is still beloved after nearly 6 years. Same with the Nexus 5 and iPhone 5S (7th gen). Seems like numerology can playva part in tech and numbers 2, 3, 5, and 7 are great. My favorite video games usually has the number 2 at the end of it.

Third time's the charm. For some reason, I'm lucky with the number 3 with phones than any other number.

                                  Xiaomi Mi 3
                                  Samsung Galaxy Note 3
                                  Google Pixel 3
                                  Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3

I actually don't see myself buying another smartphone in a long time. Dolphin MMJR2 plays my GameCube games beautifully on my Flip 3 and I only care about Dreamcast and GameCube games the most. Then I have my Razr 5G to watch movies whether opened or from the biggest cover display. A Flip 4 even with a bigger cover display won't interest me at all. My Flip 3's battery life is totally acceptable for my usage.

The Oppo Find N does have my interest. It's smaller than the Fold 3 with a wider outer display and no crease. But the Fold 3 is probably still the superior device. But I may get the Find N for being less bulky. I'm still not sure though because I don't want to use Oppo's Color OS and they're still Chinese. I also may not like that book form factor. Clamshell is more ideal since they're easier to carry around.
