Couldn’t be anymore disappointed in snapdragon.

This could be my next tablet, just to enjoy media consumption.

But if you look into other benchmarks like gfxbench which focuses more on gpu and mlperf which focuses on AI tasks, you could see a huge improvement Y-O-Y on these chips. I could also recommend antutu but someway somehow as a reference

I hope the 11 inch is OLED this time. I want to upgrade but 12.6 is too big for what I use it for.

I don't understand. For the past three years the MT performance of top SnapDragon SoCs has barely improved. Why?

                Snapdragon 855 (February 2019) shows ~2800.
Now super duper new Snapdragon 898 (December 2021, i.e. almost 3 years later) shows ~3200.

                That's a measly 14% uplift.

Still 8gigs (7gigs in fact) of Ram. Tablets are surging, Samsung in a position to capitalize, instead they keep producing low specced "high end" tablets.

Wint andoird 12 upon us (finally official support), you would think that Samsung would be moredeious about their tablet business... Naaah, let us equip our $1000 tablet (that actually needs 50%-100% more ram due to more assets being drawn on screen at any time) with the amount of ram that $150 low end Chinese phones are.

Just Samsung things. iPads offers 16GB ram tablets for a reason. I would have hoped that Samsung would have read the ... signs and followed... Naaah, to them it's cash grabs all the way and all the time...

How nice it is to see in this website a picture of a device with no hole or notch.

14.6 inch?!, it's the same size of the laptop screen.
