Well I am not sure about camera quality of s22 ultra, but I see that with last SW update, quality of my Note 20 ultra photos(and photo experience) downgraded. If Samsung still needs those dirty tricks to show they are better than previous phones, they are in trouble

i tested p40 pro against my wife's s21 ultra which is double the price and newer generation and it simple can't stand a chance against the p40 pro where all of its sensors are bigger and the software is excellent too , samsung still haven't figure out how to combine sensors in photos to take good pics between optical zoom ranges

my wife just got a s21 ultra and tested it against my p40 pro, is pathetic how bad is comparing to huawei given its almost doubled priced and my huawei is 1 generation older .
sammy needs to step up their game and start putting less but bigger and more quality sensors

Smartphone photography is more about software and UI than pure hardware these days. Look at the magic iPhones and Pixel phones could create with very limited camera hardware. Looks at those Chinese phones with (on paper) amazing camera hardware specs, and see the disappointing actual real world results.
If you want amazing hardware specs to make you feel better about yourself, by all means go get a Xiaomi or Oppo or Oneplus. Anyone can assemble a great phone in a sweatshop, it's the software part that makes the experience great.
See how Samsung had come a long way from crappy Touchwiz to OneUI. arguably even better than stock Android in some areas. That requires proper R&D

... moreI clearly mentioned a reason for why you can't make a phone like that but again.
1. The company's gonna make barely any profit of such expensive phones. That's why they make flagships in such low amounts and they keep the price controllable.
2. No ones going to need that high specs. Currently we aren't that advanced in optimization to match that kind of hardware.

This makesnit cheap for Samsung. As for amount of ram, it is simple consumer demand. Prople want features and applications, features and applications want resources.
