Apparently, OP isn't rolling out the Android 12 update for other phones until April. That's disgraceful.

It was the first model to have the ColorOS base out of the box, which was supposed to lead to faster updates. I see numerous midrange Oppo phones receiving Android 12, yet nothing for the Nord 2 or OP8 series. It's very disappointing. OP has really dropped the ball.

My OP8 runs way better on android 10 than android 11. Same with many OnePlus devices . They look after you at launch and during the first 12 months but devices get bugs, features cancelled and very slow updates after this period.

C39 is as plagued with issues as C36. Prior to the C36 and C39 Android 12 releases, the Android 11 releases supported and implemented Carrier Aggregation in the Qualcomm 888 SoC X60 modem.
But, after running a full modem diagnostic, OnePlus disabled carrier aggregation and it cannot be turned on.
This will cut downlink and uplink speeds by 67% as it isn't using a standard feature readily available on AT&T's, T-Mobile's, and Verizon's networks.
Posting on the OnePlus antiquated forum about issues is useless. Calling the customer service number is completely useless as you just get a circular conversation where they cannot help and where they state over and over that they cannot submit complaints to OnePlus in China as they aren't allowed to do so.
No other manufacturer of cell phones offers such poor service.

Users reporting the update is unstable and rife with bugs. This is still more like a beta version and users are again the test subjects.

And...there's already bugs reported in the official forums. Really, this change to ColorOS disguised and OxygenOS is a bad move by Oneplus. Seems half-baked update and in a hurry which is always a bad sign. It's sad they're moving this way...

It would be nice if OP posted a roadmap for Android 12 for its other models. We've seen roadmaps from Oppo, Realme and Samsung. I'd like to know if I can expect it on my Nord 2 in January or June. ;)
