      Interesting that you said there was a lack of new design & yet Google bought out the pixel, which although divides opinion, is certainly different in design.

          Xiaomi 11ultra. Probably the best phone ever made. Obviously I do not have the 12 pro but it just seems sucks compare to their previous flagship. Other phones are miles behind.

            I was very tempted by the Zenfone 8 but I see that there are a lot people hit by what seems to be a hardware problem that requires the replacement of the motherboard.
            Do a search on "zenfone ramdump" and you will see that literally hundreds of people have had this problem, which is worrying for a phone that is not a big seller. It's a pity because a small phone with 3.5mm jack and great specs/lots of storage is exactly what I am looking for.

              Ahhhh as usual all these top 5 phones will just be basically flagships..

              You would think with the diversity of reviews hones reviewed on here it would be a MIX of flagship, mid range and even entry level..

              Same old same old

                  We need more phone like Asus Zenfone 8 size, and thicker. Because years ago every ___ asked for slimmer and bigger phones.

                    Well seem everybody of you guys love Xiaomi Mi 11 ultra..
                    We we all know its a best phone released in 2021 and i am certain and believe Xiaomi 12 ultra will be the same thing. Best phone of 2022.

                            Agree with the selection and the thought black of this.
                            I think if it were a "Compact Pixel 6" would be the 1st in the list.. imagine a pixel 6 in ZenFone 8 size!!! :)

                              Finally someone who agrees just how awesome the zenfone 8 is!
                              This is such an underrated phone perhaps because of how bland it looks.
                              It may top the class-leading specs but man it does every thing extremely splendidly

                                Cheers Ro. It's my favourite list so far. The phones have a nice combination of innovation, good design, value and sensibility.
