I feel like Samsung is taking the Pixel approach this year. Throwing out a $700 rehash of their previous flagship, right before launching the new flagship model. That way they can cover more, higher price ranges with the new model. I'm guessing the S22's will be around $800, $1100, and $1400.

It is sad that Samsung has chosen to get rid of the SD card slot in an attempt increase sales of the streaming services. And that's the bottom line; ALL flagship phones are big enough to include an micro SD card slot, but Apple, Google, and now Samsung don't want you to be able to expand the memory on your device with an inexpensive SD card when they can get reoccurring charges from you for streaming. Ignore that you may already own massive amounts of media, or that streaming music/movies sucks down battery way faster than playing from a card. I'm done with Samsung and their overpriced equipment.

SD card slot: Did they invent the swappable microSSD for smartphones and I'm not aware of? My (original, not fake) 1TB SanDisk Extreme Pro says Hello!
Also, it takes less than a 1 second to read 10.000 photos from the SD card.
I've said this before, the wheel or the automobile can be called also 'old tech', yet we're using them EVERY DAY!

Maybe it will have the same shitty virtual proximity sensor and battery hog luminosity sensor simulated with front camera, just like entry level phones and just like S20 FE.

After going Note ... I now cannot go for any phone without a stylus or Spen.
my only wish is that the so called S22 ultra do not come with a liver-selling pricetag or they have a washed down version for a lower price.

I own S20fe 5G for about six months and i think it had the best overall package for its price when i bought it or even today. But S21fe is really nonsense when vanilla S21 is almost a FE version

Wilfred, 21 Dec 2021Not everyone likes refurbished phones, mate!In a few weeks I'm about to buy a new in box S20 FE 5G. They have them fairly available. Maybe his is brand new. Either way, that was and still is a better phone than this S21 FE. I haven't found a phone that can be had new for a similar price to the S20 FE 5G that has all the US T-Mobile bands and has the feature set of this phone, combined with camera quality and battery life. It even has root and bootloader unlock, I'd you're into that kinda thing.

Meh, this phone came out way too late at this point. If wasn't for the chip shortage, I believe would sell quite well back in the summer. Might as well wait for the S22 FE at this point, if it releases in 2022.... That's gonna be the question.

I have S20 FE been using for 1 year and it's perfect phone and I got it much cheaper than S20 back then, but launching S21 FE right before S22 is really dumb yes it's cheaper than S21 but why would I buy FE when you can buy used or refurb S21 probably even cheaper, if this was launched 6 months ago it would be nice.
By the way it's funny how people say that they hate this phone because it doesn't have headphone jack, 90% of high end phones nowadays doesn't have it wake up its 2021!!!
