Low-light mode seems to be nothing more then the scene-mode 'night'. It's removed under scenes and added to shooting-mode as low-light.

received mine today.
Initial thoughts, UI on the gallery is good but laggy. I can take pictures while watching video. big whoop but you never know when you might need it. better to have it than not. The multiview function is quite good and fluid. I can customise my notification bar icons.
It is quite minor I guess but I am used to having the media toolbar on the notification bar where I can access different apps when my headphones are plugged in. This has been removed and cannot be put back on and my headphone icon does not appear...WHY???
need to explore more before I can make in depth comments

Although the update is available for GSM devices, any handsets provided through a network always take longer. It will be down to the respective network to process the update.
Example being O2 sourced HTC One X, the JB update has been available for ages, but O2 only released it this week.

Getting the following message when i try to get the update ova
'Access to the software update service is provided to users in the order in which they request it. Try later'
Never seen this before. My kies software hasn't prompted the update. London 15:14

Guys, any initial review on this update? Does it have any lags or any delays while using multi view? Any lags using the dialer (phone) app? How is the RAM management?

I could take snaps while recording a video. There's a camera icon on the right hand corner for taking snaps while in video mode.

No one noticed that or mentioned it, but previous JB update for SIII removed the taking pictures while recording feature.
To anyone who has been able to test 4.1.2, is that feature back please? I find that kinda annoying, i wanted to brag about it a few weeks ago then... well nothing. but it was really handy.

people moan about late updates in Samsung!
Just download any back-up apps and back-up your files and run Odin* with the latest stock Samsung ROM "image" for 4.1.2.
*First read about it very well because it may damage your phone if you don't know what you are doing, you also can check for tutorials on Youtube with full details.

I have recieved this a week ago. Official OTA cause i never root my devices.
I am from croatia and i have international unlocked version which i bought from tele 2 carrier. It is great! Gallery is revamped, that spiral mode is awsome,and multi view is one heck of a feature
