That's because of BS like this that such features have been removed, the ONLY reason it is removed is so you buy premium cloud option.
Whatever is the next feature that YOU take for granted that they'll remove for no valid reasons, I hope you'll remember that you helped them to do that, because YES, comment DO have an influence.
