Spec wise it's almost a different generation than the Z flip. Software wise? Yeah, it's basically a china only phone.

                    Design is arguable.

                    Only real issue with the Huawei is that it is basically not a smartphone. It probably is in China, however here in the West you either have to have access to the play store or the App store. If not you are left behind and your phone sooner rather than later loses its scamrt capabilities one after another (I would know, the windows mobile ... experience was rather painful to me as MS was giving up on it)

                                      Weird screen aspect ratio + resolution, interesting camera setup (32MP "Ultra Spectrum" sensor must be just a fancy name for a monochrome sensor) and fascinating back design. Too bad that it lacks support for 5G though. A clamshell is not my cup of tea and I wouldn't have bought this even if it had been cheaper and had GMS, but nonetheless a surprisingly decent effort by a company that has severely limited access to chips and components.

                                        Another key difference is Android.
