This is due to the finalisation of the ARM v8 architecture, finishing as of 2021. That is 58 SoCs in totality, this was no easy task to bring this list to you.

      ...I considered making a separate list for chips from Exynos, HiSilicon, MediaTek, RockChip, Unisoc, AMLogic, Allwinner, etc etc. But that would be a great task, and I don't know if anyone is appreciative of the effort.

              Instead of a 8x A55 chipset in the low-end/entry market... I rather have a 1x A76 + 4x A55. That's the same die area and cost, but you get a lot more single-threaded performance and efficiency.

              Instead of a 4x A78 + 4x A55 chipset.... I rather get rid of the small cores completely and replace them with medium cores, and reduce the number of big cores to increase efficiency. Again, same area size and cost, but slightly higher performance and slightly higher efficiency. Something like 3x A78 + 5x A73. If you examine the Android code, there's very little need for a fourth big core, and whilst the little cores are great to run background tasks, they slow the operation of day-to-day tasks to a point where it's noticeable and annoying. So using A73 will decrease the latency, and reduce the need to start up the big cores as often. Also note that A78 and X1 are the same cores, so you can use these interchangeably.

You can test this out on demanding games, or better yet on Emulator performance. In the Luxury Phone market, these things matter. You're paying Top Dollar, so it is expected that you be Choosy.

                But for the high-end, like the QSD 768G/765/750/695/690 (best to worst) chipset category, then yes we have competitive options from Exynos, MediaTek, and HiSilicon. These are all max-clocked 2x A78 or A77 cores.

                Whilst the midrange chipset category, like the QSD 732G/480G/720/480/730/678/675/712/710/670 (best to worst), this applies even more. These are all high-clocked 2x A76 or A75 cores.

                And when you move to the low-end, like the QSD 680/660/665/662/460/636/632/653/652/650 (best to worst), again applies even more, and the chipset becomes less of a factor compared to other specs of the device. These are all mid-clocked 2x A73 or A72 cores.

                All entry-level phones have chipsets with 4-to-8 cores of small Cortex-A53 or Cortex-A55 cores, and a small iGPU without any meaningful AI/NPU. It's almost pointless comparing their chipsets at this point.

You know Exynos reputation is going down when most Koreans prefer Snapdragon over homegrown Exynos. Being almost able to match Snapdragon is not acceptable anymore when we are paying the same price.

                    Exynos isp is that bad that S21U with SD got lower score than S20U with SD
                    Plus exynos isn't providing a good gpu at all
                    If Samsung wants to know how much people love snapdragon, they can provide both variants in every country to see what's better in people's eyes
                    I think you can compare exynos vs snapdragon at the A52 vs A53 series sells

                          Samsung could skipped this version and should have moved straight into S22 FE. If S22 FE falls on usual schedule then this will have some 5-6 months life before S22 FE buzz around in rumour mill..

                              samsung does not supply their authorised service partners with display withowt the frame,whoever claims they are orginal is aware that they were stolen from samsung supply chain before they reach assembly factory

This one will be launched almost with S22 it has no jack or mSD, S21 can be found for $ 700, unless they launch it for around $ 500 it is a failure
