I love the latest model of OPPO . I can't wait to get it when it's available here in Bahrain in the near future and affordable prices.

A foldable phone has two major issues. First, it's pretty large. Second, it has two screens that you need to protect from damage, one on the inside, one on the outside. The outside is curved on top of that, so forget about glass screen protector, your only choice is a film protector. The inside screen would be quite hard to protect with anything other than a dedicated film, like Samsung did with first foldables. Good luck getting a film and installing it.
And now the best part: can you imagine a case for this device? I can't. Not a compact one, at least. So drop protection will also be limited.
This all leaves us with a rather niche device that is very hard to properly protect if you carry it with you. In other words, a non-practical device. On top of being two-three times as expensive as similar devices that perform similar functions.
What I am trying to say:
If I want a tablet, I'll buy a tablet. A tablet is a niche device for specific use cases. Just like a foldable phone, except it is several times cheaper.
If I want a phone, I'll buy a phone. It does all the things a foldable phone does, but is less fragile, easier to use, smaller, lighter and costs a fraction of a foldable.
If I have tons of money or want other people think so, I may buy a foldable. And an expensive mechanical watch. And a tesla model X or some other fancy car. If I want a phone instead of an object of interest, I'll probably buy the latest iPhone, the most expensive model, or an exclusive model from some designer. But if I'm not THAT rich to spend $5-20k on a phone, I'll probably get a foldable phone instead. Cheaper and does the job for a while.
But that is just me. What about you? Do you find foldables desirable?

Besides, why would US youtubers all reviewing a China only phone? It’s all paid ads by Oppo. Notice that none of them said anything negative (no GMS, questionable software updates, etc).

Let's keep "better" in context. This phone has a wider front screen and a more subtle crease. That does not make it better. Samsung can easily make a wider screen. What they can't do is make a more subtle crease or remove the gap without changing the way their hinge Folds the screen. It has to Fold an inch or two away from the center. Not down the center.
Anyhow, Oppo has an international version available on Amazon and I see all or most American bands.

The Find N is the same height as the mini and 1cm wider due to slightly bigger display and much usable aspect ratio (18:9) for a smaller screen, not to mention without any chungus notch.

I feel it's the best foldable for people who want a compact device to open up to something bigger when they feel like it. I still prefer that of the Z Fold but I don't mind Oppo's approach.
Going to wait and see what the 4 will have before getting a Z Fold for my wife. Battery life has to be better before I can get her that device.

Watch the Linus tech tips review on this i agree the invisibility of the crease is impressive but it has no software support all apps will go landscape even to which ever way you open it and it has no support for Netflix and other stuff these are too big of a factor to me hardware is impressive but the software is what you use the most and if there's no actual support their it will make the phone unusable as a daily driver.

If someone, including Apple, were to make a foldable that was similar in size to a Mini, I would be all over it. As it stands, the Z Fold is more similar in dimensions to a Mini.

No doubt it's has been showered much love👌....but still it's not close to be called "D BEST"
When unfolded turns a tab n basically its shouldn't be considered a main drive phone to be carried all about (to my own views) and so calling the find N a compatible device seems not ok with my needs( been part of my wealth)...
On the other hand spec-wise, I do consider the find N as a flagship-killer( or Midrange) to the Z fold existence ....pointing towards display qualities,stylus support,and IP rates protection at least a flagship should possess one of these.😏
