Sigh.. android fanboys always have such high hopes. Hahah.

Fuchsia or not, they will still will be a transition state, whereby Android apps will work badly in the new platform. Same with the migration from intel to arm Macs. Apple took years undercover for the migration.

Samsung will not be so fast to put all eggs into the same basket. So I guess they will test a few hardware for the new OS, test water. And they would need Google's help.. to migrate as many of the Android Api to the new kernel.. they need to keep Android apps alive until developer can migrate to the new OS.

So I would guess it will take 2028 or 2030 for fuchsia can be seen viable mainstream.

Fuchsia os will take over in future, android gonna die soon

That's the year google has planned for transition.

It's not the case of Samsung alone switching, literally e ery current Android OEM will switch to fuchsia.

One UI is the most smoothest between every UI
Plus people at here hate Apple cuz they can't install moded and cracked apps
Plus Android has mamy features that Apple hasn't invented yet
And just wait for S22 series sells to wipe off iscam 13 from earth

AnonD-1030868, 24 Dec 2021Android is already 10 years ahead of iosJust compare the iPhone 13 Max, to the Samsung S21+.
They're close in terms of physical size, screen properties, and battery life. Yet, iOS still runs much faster with the Apple A15, and it runs for much longer. There's at least two-generation gap there.

That's what you can get with Vertical Integration.
The hardware is faster and more efficient. Third-party developers spend more time optimising for the platform. The code runs closer to native (Swift vs Java), and that goes for graphics too (Metal2 vs Vulkan1). The OS may have its share of bugs and security issues, but it's still much more secure and stable than AndroidOS, even with OneUI changes. And if we're talking about backwards compatibility, Apple's hybrid-translation (Rosetta2) can run x86 programs on their ARM platform, much much much, better, faster, and efficient compared to the likes of say Windows x86 programs on a Windows-ARM device with their official (slow) emulation layer.

So as much as we "hate" Apple here in the comments section, we should all be appreciative of their efforts and innovations they bought to the market. More competition is better for innovation.

Im having the feeling that sooner every smartphone maker would have there own OS just like huawei already switched to harmony OS and Samsung already working on fushia looking at the way android is making garbage skins

Being able to set a language for each app can be useful.

The bigger changes mostly comes from the local Android skin. Google is boring.

After seeing what hot garbage is Android 12, it's no wonder Google is moving on from Android to a new platform.

I wish Huawei upstreamed their Run Time to Linux so that I would have replaced Android Run Time.

Harmony Run Time is 50% faster than Android Run Time.

And their Files system EROFS is 20% than F2FS.

Google is adapting EROFS into Android 13 but Harmony Run Time would be amazing.

                                    It's giving... It's giving Android 12

They don't have much to do after Android 5.
                                      Just keep messing with design.

I'm tired of seeing the same settings list. Google should seriously reorganize that mess.

Windows 10 Settings, while incomplete, had a great idea of how to group stuff. And Windows 10 Mobile was better at it, too
