I'm really excited about my Surface Duo 2. It would be great if MS will further develop the concept.

Anonymous, 28 Dec 2021When no one is buying their dual-display phone, they'r... moreThey have no marketing where I lived. People here are shocked to see my dumb Lg dual screen and thought only heavily marketed Samsung/others have multi screen phones.
Microsoft's image is limited to Windows.

EskeRahn, 28 Dec 2021The Z shape is the 'right' form factor for foldab... more(Obviously it would be even better if the device could fold both like a "z" and an "e", so the fragile display gets fully protected when closed as an "e", but that will be even more complex to do, so will likely be a while before we see that)

Basically, a Surface Duo 2 with another screen at the back and a hinge that folds backwards. That is going to be one large of a tablet when unfolded. I do wonder where the rear cameras are going to stay.

Microsoft are the best in
OS, Laptops, Office, Cloud, low-code, Pro-code platform etc... You name it.
Their duo screen surface device is the best android productivity device out their. It is a new catogery. Different from phones and tablets. However, Andriod productivity surface devices are not for everyone.

When no one is buying their dual-display phone, they're going to dumb-down and add one more display.

The Z shape is the 'right' form factor for foldable with (roughly) 16:9 both opened and closed
(As 3*9/16 roughly equals 16/9)

So one screen when you want to use the phone as you normally use and then three screen for those who wants to use three apps at once. And I think it's gonna be as thin as galaxy fold because the existing surface duo is one of the thinnest phone (around 5mm when unfolded).
