And here I'm, patiently waiting for lineage os for s20fe which will actually improve this phone, not just install a ton of new bloatware, spying apps and useless crap.
Only thing I'm excited for Android 12 are the privacy camera and mic toggles.

It's been aroud 3 day i got android 12 OTA and straight after downloading went to install.
Over all i am happy with it but there are some strange choices from Sammy like in no way there it is not possible to have more than 3 rows in quick toggle area, really wtf is wrong with sammy?
Having option to charge phone fully or up to 85% is really good cause sometimes i have to vharge phone during night and well you know how bad over charging is.
I hope things have gotten better after android 12 for S20FE 5G.

I have the S20 FE 5G and no update yet in Canada, as of Jan 7th 2022. Still on Android 11 One UI 3.1

Vanilla S20 (G980F/DS) got the update today in Estonia. A bit odd, that december security update was pushed and then a week later OneUI4 with dec. patch a week later. But I'm not complaining :)
Looking back several years, Samsung has really stepped up it's updating policy in the last few years (y)

Yb, 03 Jan 2022Did you tried samsung charger?(it will not work with any ot... moreYes I used samsung charger, and I don't have super fast charging option in my settings too, and no matter 15 watt or 25 watt charger you connect, everything is same, Samsung told that if you don't have the super fast charging option, you have a problem, they told me to install Samsung tutor and that they were gonna call me for remote support, they never called, I read a couple of forums and other people had the problem too, seems like it got removed after am update, I'll try to use warranty when I have time for it

I have s20 FE 5g and it charged perfectly with samsung superfast charger (25w )

I've seen that post, literally and practically... moreYes I have the s20 fe 5g, and TBH I ain't happy with it, day after they the phone is getting messed up, first of all my phone doesn't charge in 25 watt charging that Samsung promised, I have contacted Samsung regarding it, but got almost no answer, this problem is wide spread, and also when everyone was having ghost touch issues, my phone worked perfectly fine, then Samsung came along with and update claiming to "improve touch stability" and gave me the gift of ghost touch, specific parts of display would go unresponsive and stay like that for seconds, I have contacted Samsung regarding this issue too but they gave me BS, telling me it is caused by my screen protector, yes, I use a screen protector but why it didn't happen earlier and it's happening now?

I've seen that post, literally and practically GPS isn't much of need for me.(I use another specific device for that)
I've managed to obtain Android 12 firmware (SM-G986B_2_20211223141200_jpcya210gs_fac) which if recall correctly should be Switzerland's firmware.
But i am not in the position of loading it on to my device cause of almost 200GB of data on my device.
You do own the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition 5G right? any thought from user perspective?

I was saying regularly it hits soon, buy seems like this time it's an exception, I haven't got the update too, not even a bare security update, though still I think it's coming soon, someone in the phones page was complaining that update messed his GPS, so consider that before updating

I'm guessing here: Switzerland is in Europe, but not EU. So maybe some sort of EU regulatory issue holds back the release? Anyone in the EU can confirm they have had the major update?

I updated the S20 FE 5G, on CSC AUT Switzerland, to Andoid 12 One UI 4.0. Samsung has broken the device's GPS, which is no longer dual-band. Now it works only in the L1, E1, B1 bands, it no longer receives the L5, E5a, B2a bands.
