MiUi 13 is doing some sort of compensation on dark grey content to remove black crush problems on very dark grey content.
You can notice it when you connect for charging. When it starts the charging animation, then at first it shows the usual black crush issues, but soon after the compensation kicks in and increases screen black level to compensate for it post which all gradients are smooth.
Sure you lose out on pure blacks, but it's still better than seeing weird black-grey artifacts all over the screen. I was manually boosting screen's black level up to dark grey to compensate for this, so I'm glad that this MiUI 13 update handles it by default.
Have not seen any black crush issues since but at times I notice pure black converting to grey so it's just compensating for it. Just though I'd share this here for whoever is curious if this is still solved. It's solved.. kinda..

Mi10T ? Last Gen? But you cant fix the miui 12 regarding on the notification to its application like the messenger? Geh then I guess you should include on Android 12 update. 🤦

I have personally stepped away from Xiaomi.
Their product line have became too fragmented. They obviously cannot give a decent amount of attention to each phone that they release, and to update it properly. Their phones started to make little sense - for example, very few ones has OIS.
I suggest you too to move to Vivo/IQOO, Oppo, Moto and others.

This is sadly how Xiaomi is though. They are known for the hardware, not the software. After 1 year Xiaomi considers phones "old".
