Really Disappointed with the Pricing. It doesn't offer anything on S20 FE (SD865 version) which is priced around 36000 ($500) in India.

I quite like the look of this phone. They've mixed elements of the S series together with the A series and I think it looks pretty good.

$699? Well that's it, really. It's an instant DOA. Samsung should be selling this for no more than $599. I can't see any reason to pick this when a used secondhand S21 can now be bought for as little as $500.

        Andrew, 04 Jan 2022I'd better take Oneplus 8T, Nord 2, Xiaomi 11T for 400... morehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBK_Electronics

        - oppo and realme
        - vivo
        - oneplus
are all belong to bbk electronics, so, maybe, bbk has much much much huge components order than samsung and other brands, that makes the ordered components have more discounts, and that makes their selling price lower ... plus ... maybe ... bbk willing to take smaller profit aiming for larger gross income

        its all politics ...

SD888 with 120hz display, 5G and 4,500 mah battery is not going to last 2 days even with moderate usage. I'm surprised by this claim and hopefully it can be put to the test.

            No information on expandable storage?

Price is high. Should have been 549 or 599. Because of the s22 launch next month I'm pretty sure this is going to drop in price in the next quarter. No point in buying now.

Chuck, 04 Jan 2022I wanted to like this Fans Edition but its a failed edition... moreOk that's a funny comment!

Why it is more expensive than the vanilla s21?

It's a lot of money. I just picked up a second-hand A52 5G (not the A52s) for only $A325. The display (colours are oversaturated in my opinion), camera (with GCam), speakers (better than my Nord 2 and Realme 7 Pro, surprisingly), build quality, haptics and fingerprint sensor are excellent. I couldn't justify paying more than double that for the FE.

Shellyman Studios, 04 Jan 2022Samsung could've priced it at $599 instead of $699. That extra USD 100 for stable One UI 4 and OS updates for the next 4 years.

Is it really worth it if the s21, OnePlus 9 pro, pixel 6 and certain other higher end phones cost the same?

I wanted to like this Fans Edition but its a failed edition. No headphone jack, no 120W charging, no under display camera, no industry leading cooling mechanism, no 1,000,000+ on Antutu, no IOS, no micro sd, no infrared camera, no quad DAC. SSORRY

NO buy Samsung. Maybe offer all this ^^^ and maybe I pay 300 USD.

The price is too near the S21, which is still an all-around better phone.

Samsung could've priced it at $599 instead of $699.

                                Too late

For a phone that's considered to be "Fan Edition," it is lacking some important features that the "fans" not only want but also need.

A bit too expensive. Here in China, S21+ has had a massive price reduction and is now being sold at roughly $780
