And yes, I can get the OnePlus 9 Pro for half of the price of the S21 Ultra, we don't live in the same place FYI.
Even for the launch price of the OnePlus 9 Pro and Galaxy S21 Ultra 12/256GB, there was a 300€ difference so it haven't changed much since 2019.

The Galaxy S10 series already had DeX and Knox, wireless charging, IP rating and 4k video recording on selfie camera, so the OnePlus 7 Pro wasn't on Samsung level, you're just deluded like the people who thought the OnePlus One and 3/3T were real flagships.
Oh, and the S10 series already got Android 12 before we even enter 2022, with some luck OnePlus will give it to the 7 Pro before March, or maybe before August is a more realistic timeline.

OnePlus 7 Pro was the last serious to consider - had all what other flagship and was more affordable. Now it offers mid-flagship expirience like S22/S22+ but costs more. Even lack some features like DeX, KNOX, ...

As a user of samsung since 5 yr I think samsung one of the company that gives awesome ui with display, design and quality improvement with camera features and other special for the price of 35k to 50k
