koldmeat, 01 Jan 2013Still no JB in Asia. When will we get it?I think they won't give the Jelly Bean, I bought about one week ago. RAZR XT910 Asia won't receive Jelly Bean, stuck in ICS.

AnonD-66371, 26 Dec 2012iPhone 5, Nexus phones,HTC phones, Lumias and others have n... moreSo any reason why Galaxy S3 or Note 2 sold more than all other brands' top phones combined? There must be a reason why Samsung continues to offer phones with user replaceable batteries.
From the environment point of view, phones with users replaceable batteries should have longer life cycles, given the phones are built with top quality like Motorola units. I still have the original Milestone 1 and Cliq 1. When the batteries were dead all I needed was to replaced with a new one, instead of sending them to the landfills.
A friend told me EU is actually proposing new phones to be sold must have users replaceable batteries.
And I simply don't know how to replace the batteries on Droid 4 like Droid 3 or Android Razr like Atrix 2 (with bare hands), any tips?

100 Moto, 26 Dec 2012Galaxy S3 and Note 2 still offer user replaceable battery, ... moreiPhone 5, Nexus phones,HTC phones, Lumias and others have non-removable batteries though.
Anyway, I'm not saying it's better, but there is a reason behind this kinds of moves and even though a few don't like it, they may be profitable and better in other terms (design, cost, performance). That's why Motorola is using it.
You can change the battery on Droid 4, Atrix HD and Razrs. Is it hard? Hell yeah! Can you do it anyway? Yes you can.

AnonD-66371, 26 Dec 2012Stop complaining. New devices from every single manufacture... moreGalaxy S3 and Note 2 still offer user replaceable battery, and yes I opened the back cover for Droid 4 and Android Razr before and I cannot take out the battery like Atrix 2.

100 Moto, 25 Dec 2012Still can't understand why Moto keeps updating devices with... moreStop complaining. New devices from every single manufacturer will have non-removabable batteries in coming years! It's a new standard.
Plus, warranty lasts about 1 year. If the battery dies in 2 years, as you say, you can open the back of the phone and change it.

Samsung fan, 25 Dec 2012You are wrong. You can change battery in RAZR or RAZR MAXX.GSM Arena states all Android Razr phones, along with Atrix HD, do have users non replaceable batteries, and I took out the under case and I cannot take out the battery either.
