Samsung nailed it with the Flip3 cover screen. It's for simple notifications and the likes. This isn't a big foldable like the Fold3. Your display when you need to do something is THE display.

And your other part, yeah no one cares. Everyone knows any 200 buck phone can suffice so your statement is valid for 'EVERY' phone over that price and every flagship. Not just the Flip3.
But everyone knows that. You don't have to come here and tell that to everyone while proving that you kinda are jealous of it and you can't afford it because clearly it's not meant for people like you or me or the average joe.

Increasing the size of the Flip's cover display will be more useful but will never be a perfect experience like an Find N because most apps are built in portrait. Not landscape. Razr has the best cover display and it isn't perfect either. I need to flip open the Razr if I want to browse or use the Dasher app.
This is why the Chinese like Huawei and TCL seem to make the cover display on their clamshell more of a smart watch. Not a useful secondary display. Apps just won't work in landscape.

Regarless iits the premiom olympic edition i wouldnt spend 1200 bucks on a phone because any bar phone for 200-400 bucks could run any app too and does same tricks for 800 bucks less.

Samsung better improve battery life on the next Flip. Not that it bothers me too much as I have chargers in my car and do the 85/40 rule. But I'm starting to notice some degradation and I've only had it for 4 months.
It's like Samsung uses terrible batteries that only holds a full cycle charge of 200 instead of 500. Again, I never fully charged mine from 0 to 100. Never went beyond 85%. I'm only on 4G and 60 Hz and it's still draining quickly. Just turned off fast charging and might only go wired for now on since wireless draws a lot of heat.

The Z Flip 3 is the most exciting phone in the last 5 years. It’s the first phone which has got me leaving iPhone or at least sharing my phone time with my 13 PM.
Just beautiful to hold and use in store. I have ordered bespoke and very excited to get this bad boy.

For people who got the Araree Aero Flex, it's the best case for the Flip 3 but has one caveat. The bottom back of the phone or what's underneath when closed scratches up. I have a slight scratch on mine which is the matte black and it shows. It's because it rubs against the flap that is the hinge protector.

If you butthurt because of the plastic back's on the S21/S21+ you need to get over it.
The phones have great internal components like they always have.
Maybe you're confusing Quality with Value? Sure it's easy for Xiaomi to offer a similarly specced phone for slightly less money but they also operate in a known country that is not nice to it's work force.
