Shadocx, 04 Jan 2022Let's just ignore the LTPO 2.0 display, bigger battery... moreunfortunately people are more and more self concerned living shallow lives filled with consumptionism and changing phone each year. I notice that especially among...poor people. they want to shine in friends circle and do it by purchasing new phone for 3 months salaries. my 1 salary can buy me like 10 flagship phones, yet i still use galaxy s10 because it still works fine :D maybe thus year I'll buy second hand S21, but never new phone, such a waste of money.

Anonymous, 05 Jan 2022Get mi10 pro instead. Better than 12X. Or mi11. I really hate the side mounted fingerprint sensor. It's not something that I have adjusted to, even after having used it for more than a year.

The 865 is still KING. All you may need to do is pay for a battery replacement, which I don't think should still be needed, unless if it's really degraded.

I personally am waiting to check the battery life/throttling performance of the 8 gen ABCD (god alone knows why they had to go with this weird naming methodology). May mostly go for the XIAOMI 12X considering it has the 870.

That 8MP telephoto has been used to death now, I hoped they'd use a different sensor this time around but i guess they had to cut corners again. Won't be upgrading from my OnePlus 8 Pro.

No matter what they launch their camera is very poor .... As compare to Samsung and Apple ... I am comparing one plus with these 2 giants because one plus price r almost equal to them ... oneplus selfie camera and even the main camera quality is very poor colur graded skin tonned but natural as apple ... I am OnePlus user but I have to say no matter what apple is the best even though I haven't used it

If it does not contain the Mari-Chip which offers significant boost to their camera department, its a no go for many people.

                      It'll be OnePlus12 before 5G becomes a common reality.

There was promise of Hasselblad hardware more than just color balance, but as optics, "Bionic lens" or as there were an artical by OnePlus right after 9 line launch and what is to come next with Hasselblad in the future.
Hasselblad aside, OnePlus also talked about having periscope and 5X zoom with 10 Pro, but.

Promises of having periscope for 10 Pro and finally Hasselblad hardware, yet non of it. Simply repackaged 9 Pro with new selfie, chip, bigger battery and maybe slightly better screen, but not improving where it needs the most.

Having tiny 8MP for telephoto and same zoom reach since 7 Pro, is kind of... bad, real bad. Since some midrange devices nowadays have better quality zoom. Not to mention that 9 Pro could not even do optical zoom for video, rather digital crop on main camera, which is extra embarrassing for a "Pro" 1000 dollar flagship device.

AnonD-343553, 04 Jan 2022With color os? -_- OnePlus has lost its way. Most fans of... moreColorOS is only for China from what I remember, and OnePlus phones are cheaper than OPPO ones, got alert slider and the main camera sensor of the 9 Pro was bigger than OPPO's Find X3 Pro, and more telephoto zoom.
So why are you acting like they are 100% identical?

AnonD-994853, 04 Jan 2022I need 512GB storagr and sadly, no Oneplus phones have 512G... moreFirst, the 9 Pro had a 16 MP selfie camera not 32 MP, so it's not the same sensor.
What tells you it won't record in 4k or have night mode? OPPO have it, and OnePlus being closer to them might gain these features.
The telephoto does record video on the 9 Pro just in 1080p, anyway, you're not from the future, the 7 Pro or 8 Pro could record 4k videos with it's 8 MP telephoto lens, but I heard it was a 12 MP sensor in reality, just cropped in.
If they do the same thing and use a 12 MP sensor it would be cool.
The Find X3 Pro allows portrait with it's telephoto lens, as well as night mode, so we'll have to wait and see if OnePlus gets it from ColorOS.

Anonymous, 04 Jan 2022and price like 1500 euro cheapest lol ??You're from the future? The 9 Pro was 920€ for the 128 GB, how could this reach 1500€, that's even more expensive than a 256 GB S21 Ultra.

Looks good actually. Specs are as expected, all Android phones are the same thing anyways. OnePlus used to stand out with software compared to other Android phones. Has that changed recently as BBK absorbed them entirely and turned them into another Oppo clone?
