          Micro LED or Bust!!!!!

QhyQhy, 04 Jan 2022The article is wrong The 42" C2 DOES have the EVO p... moreIt's possible LG made a mistake in their press material. Reviewers who were briefed prior to announcement were told that the 42-inch and 48-inch don't have Evo panels. These panels are too small with small pixel apertures to produce bright enough light output. This is mentioned in the HDTV Test video linked below as well. LG's own press release also mentions only select C2 models having the Evo panel but then puts the Evo logo on all of them in the images.

Shanti Dope, 05 Jan 2022Nothing sad with choosing a better display technology. What... moreWhat's sad is that the TV market is still accepting old technology but yet on mobile phones, everyone wants OLED or bust. Burn-in on OLED only happens if you try to burn-in images. There are tech in OLED TV's that prevent stuck images. Now, what's even sadder is that LCD panels STILL produce Burn-in. Let's see what Samsung says:
                https://www.samsung.com/za/support/tv-audio-video/are-lcd-tvs-subject-to-screen-burn-in/

LGs, 04 Jan 2022OLED :D is shit with QD, LG bring Micro LED.Are we really serious rooting for this OUTDATED technology? Even Samsung is making OLED TVs(ABOUT TIME). Need them to stop being hypocrites and bring their mobile display expertise to their TV panel department

notafanboy, 04 Jan 2022Still hating on OLED huh? How sad.Nothing sad with choosing a better display technology. What's sad is that it's already 2022 and you're still facing burn-in issues with your OLED TV and paying a premium grand to replace it, which is practically almost just as much as purchasing a brand new one.

They should start making 120hz or more all tvs.

Most people will just buy a TV that's available to them and most convenient

Let's not live in an echoe chamber and project a more tech aware experience unto the masses

In reality consumers think TVs that are poorly calibrated and displayed on the show case is "good"

Look on blind smartphone camera tests .. the masses don't even choose the iPhone as taking best pictures lol
