I can't believe they swapped out the G96 for a garbage SnApDrAgoN!1!
Unless it's cheaper, this will be DOA.

I just bought two realme 8i for me and my wife last month, 6/128 variants. Although this looks better, the chipset is not better than the helio g96 on the 8i.

Two year and three model iterations old realme 6 is better than this. And it costs about 100usd used.

Worse display and chipset just for 33 watt...
Note: the difference is huge, g96's gpu can be up to 2 times faster in benchmark which should be noticeable. About efficiency, 680 uses an older cortex a73 and a53 (vs a76 and a55 g96) which should be slower and less efficient, on top of that 680 use old adreno 610 uses 11nm technology, bigger than g57 mp2 7nm technology

They made the depth/macro sensor larger when they could just replace them two with a single telephoto or B&W camera and it would've made more freaking sense...
