I've had many, many phones from Apple, Sammy, Motorola, LG, China, etc....I needed a new phone last week and went onto T-Mobile website and found the Moto Razr 5G discounted to 499....I jumped at it. After using it for about 4 days now I can say it is a nice phone, not fantastic. I like the whole folding thing more than I thought. Battery is fine for my purpose and speed is not an issue either. The only issue I have is the width of the screen; its too narrow and the keyboard is compressed to the point where I have a hard time typing on it. Other than that, it is awesome, especially for 499. Can't wait until the Razr 3 comes out...and gets discounted!

I see no problem with chosing high-end midranger chipset in foldables as long as they provide 2-3 major android updates. midranger chipsets can solve battery life and heat issues of all foldables with decent daily usage performance.

As my spare phone, I rooted it and use it to duplicate my hotel keycards (NFC), throw it around without a care and the screen has not even a scratch/dent/crack. It's so light too.

Honestly i can say screen protectors on a folded or curved screen and putting it on is the worst thing i ever did in my life. Usualy you wont get out bubles from curves and when you press more you will break your screen protector.
Curved screens are huge fail.
loved samsung before but hate it now.
A series as long as they have flat screens are fine but S or Note series with curved screens are dissaster.

Third-parties should really work on the cases. Most rarely have hinge protection. The ones that do can still scratch the back.
My Araree Aero Flex scratches the bottom back of my Flip 3 thanks to these sharp screws that sorta locks it in. While the case for my Razr 5G has a belt clip that scratches the sides each time I slide it in or out. No hinge protection.
I prefer the case getting scratched over the actual phone. SMH at Araree. I bought a red one with a kickstand but still went back to Araree because while it scratches my phone, it's softer and lighter. I still prefer hinge protection.

Finally a RAZR with flagship specs. This is gonna sell like hotcakes if they don't overprice it.
People who buy clamshell phones care about the design/styling a lot. Z Flip series is ok at best, it's design is very generic. The iconic RAZR design along with flagship specs is what will attracts these buyers. This new RAZR could be a big hit.

With these specs, they'll probably command an even bigger price than the overpriced previous Razr models. So, they might want to throw in at least 3 major OS updates to justify it.

I like the design of P50 Pocket and ZFlip3, but if I had the option of getting a well spec'd Razr, then I'd go for it.
Hopefully they price it competitively so that it can compete it with ZFlip.

This is nice to hear since, for me, the biggest selling point of the Razr 5g was because it looks like an actual phone.
