Anyone who would like to watch netflix big TV does its job perfectly.
Tiny phone is good for harming your eyes and sight.
Brighter screen means bigger battery consumption also bad thing.
For a long time run like traveling via train or bus watching somevideos is ok. But when yiou are at home or so TV is way better.

Looks interesting but no.
Like a 4K or 8K screen on a 6 inch cell phone is total waste this is the same.
Like a phone with 18GB ram when 8 is more than enough to run any game as smoothly as possible.
The 10GB version should be ok for every game out now and for every processing power your laptop is need.
I really dont see any reason to buy this if the total result from previous model will be maybe 3-5% increase.

Already got my 3080 and it works fine. No need for more RAM or anything else. All of this would probably equate to about a 2fps increase in average. This is not really news but it should have been done from the beginning.

320W just for GPU!!! this is true waste of energy, the whole PC setup can eat over 600W. I think technology is now getting more power efficient but not for computer GPU and CPU?

Huge GPU manipulation by companies. Create a GPU and announce its availability and chalk out its features. Price it reasonable and then create fake demands and extremely poor supply. Manipulate the market and ensure the GPU is marked up 2x-10x times it's original price. The company basically gets excellent publicity, as well as record profits, and pays taxes only on the original price. Competition Tribunals should investigate this and fine the company in $Billions.

The only reason this exists is because Nvidia shoot themself in the door with the official pricing of the 10gb 3080.
So they get rid of the old one, release this without a MSRP and then any price is "fine" in their opinion.
Nothing new, Nvidia, Intel, AMD, Google, Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi, Dell... ALL companies exist to make profit, and the pandemic, scalping, shortages and high demand created the perfect storm.
