So I just bought the Samsung tablet s8 with the Snap Dragon gen 1. And, well, it has the CPU architecture ARMv8-A , according to Droid Info. Also its peforming terribly in emulation, like a sd 845 according to YouTube. What's going on here? I thought it was meant to have ARMv9 CPU architecture?

    The SD 8 Gen 1 has a "walt" governor instead of the "schedutil" that was used on the SD 855(possibly even before) to SD 888 SoCs, could this have a negative impact on the SD 8 Gen 1 performance and throttling problem, or it has something to do with ARMv9?
    What is the governor scaling of the MTK Dimensity 9000?
    I've heard it's performing better than the SD 8 Gen 1 due to the more advanced TSMC node but I would like to know if governors change anything.

      hi ... i am a fan of android .... i always support android anywhere ..... and i will never use iphone because the price is quite expensive .... now android has used snap 8 gen 1 still cheap .... we are waiting for apple to release the latest chip, the apple a16 bionic ... must be more expensive ..... than android fans ..... bye

                  Tamil Nadu Kid, 12 Jan 202216GB RAM and 165W Fast charging yess!Phones' peaked, at this point on you only higher number (but imperceptible difference in every day performance).

                  I guess after a few years we'd finally charge our phones in 5minutes, (finally beating what we had with the replaceable batteries, i.e. insta refill... just 10 years after they got out of circulation).

                  But until then every phone is the same more or less...

                                  only red magic with fan , can tame the dragon! the red magic 6 can run 888 for daily usage without overheat / fan off while running with fan on sustain 94% performance
