Anonymous, 12 Jan 2022Yeah but the samsung one will probably be updated.Sure, let it get updated. Resource hungrier software on worse hardware doesn't make for a good combo with respect to software that ships with the same or the better(Realme) hardware unit. I personally never update my devices. The only two times I remember updating was for the Dark Mode update cause that one was worth it and the first time after which my Samsung phone horribly slowed down before the whole Apple-Samsung "planned obsolescence gate" came to light.

Skiya, 12 Jan 2022Android tablets are crap,I was expecting 6GB+ of RAM in 202... moreActually processors and RAM are both mandatory. Nowadays something below Snapdragon 788G or Dimensity 1100 (Quad Cores) are doomed to be trash.
Even worse if they have less than 6GB RAM.

Skiya, 12 Jan 2022Android tablets are crap,I was expecting 6GB+ of RAM in 202... moreDude you aren't going to get 6GB RAM on an entry level mobile device of any type. Be it a phone, tablet, or laptop.

I wish that wasn't the case, but it just is. OEMs opted to chase speed rather than capacity. For instance, every PC manufacturer is chasing DDR5 RAM in 2022 on high end devices, when I'd enthusiastically prefer a DDR4 RAM with higher capacity.

T-T, 12 Jan 2022Lolz realme pad has 0 software support, it's not even ... moreBruh, no one cares about Android 12L. The pad is targeted towards online classes and media consumption. Like every other product, this too has a target audience. Buyers for it buy knowing what they are paying for. If they want better optimization, then can will easily a different device.

Android tablets are crap,I was expecting 6GB+ of RAM in 2022. If it was an IOS device it would have been acceptable because IOS devices are optimized and built to run properly on all hardware they use. 4GB of RAM is almost okay for Android Go but will crash once you start installing apps. I'm not a person who's obsessed with processors as long as they are octa_ core at 2.5GHz and 12nm I'm good but 4GB of RAM must forget it.

Lugia4k, 12 Jan 2022Realme pad has no support at all and you don’t even know ho... moreRealme has good aftersales support here and we are much more concerned about the hardware we are pay for and whether the amalgamation of the said hardware and the software that it is shipping with delivers as advertised. If it ticks these boxes, we don't care about anything else. Chinese makes tick these boxes which is why Samsung's market has horribly receeded. Xiaomi Pad 5 is indeed an excellent device at double the price which hasn't and won't launch in India. And nope, no Apple. Perfectly content with the freedom on the Android side of things.

If you want a proper tablet that’s not very expensive just go for a xiaomi pad or an iPad 9

Idk why Samsung would even bother entering some price segments with piece of shit hardware.

The base Realme Pad is categorically better in every single way than this overpriced unisoc samsung trash, and even comes for ₹4k less. No wonder they have lost all their ground in India to the Xiaomi and Realme.
