No matter what they say every year , exynos would always be ranked at the bottom of the list just like every year. Exynos is the only reason why I don't buy Samsung. Samsung rips you off if you buy selling you exynos and not snapdragon

I mean using the exynos in s22 series could mean anything they could mean s22 FE which gives them a extra 6 months at least not to waste the built processors or a gaming version with advanced cooling to get they clock speeds

well - apart of any typical discussion: the Qualcom processors have fm-radio while Exyons not - I like fm-radio...

No matter how they made it, no matter how they did it Exynos will all ways be inferior against Qualcomm and even Mediatek.
Exynos is the reason me and many others not to choose Samsung S models here in Europe.

One thing I hate about samsung is the GOS sys app..Its very annoying and there is no way to disable it which doesn't sound right,i own the phone, if i wanted to disable they should allow me to do so.
This amd partnership is nothing, if exynos will heat up, resulting to software solutions where we throttle down something just to avoid damages to hardware counterparts. So we expect that upcoming exynos will be more efficient and cooler compared to the previous ones. Being a samsung user,I really hate exynos. We spend 1000$ on a phone only to add a cheap feature(oven) to it.

The only advantage is that since everything is done in-house by Samsung, they can fix problems faster and optimize everything.

Just let all flagship Galaxy phones have Snapdragon and give Exynos to the midrange A-series phones. Inferior chip for inferior phone... try beating Mediatek first.

And they aren't particularly hot or heavy on power consumption. When will people learn that manufacturing process, clock and consumption and/or performance are all separate things? Just because Samsung fabricates the chips doesn't mean they are automatically inferior which is evident from entire RTX 3000 lineup of graphic cards. Yet every time anyone mentions Samsung node here on GSMArena everyone is raging how it's totally inferior to TSMC. It's not. It's just different and if chip is designed accordingly it'll perform great.

Most gpu are around 600mhz. Then someone said samsung failed at 1.92ghz. If Samsung manage to get their gpu run at 1.2ghz without overheating that will be good achievement in my opinion.

Just because "most people" don't use it doesn't mean it shouldn't be there. Heck, i have seen people using themes on WhatsApp plus. But maybe where you live no one uses that. 🤦♂️

"The Samsung official pointed the finger at the ARM Mali-G78 MP14 as the culprit. “The new GPU is expected to resolve the problems of the Exynos 2100. We intend to sharpen our competitiveness by loading GPUs for games into mobile devices"
Hopefully for Samsung, they can work with AMD and release frequent driver updates with software updates to compete with Qualcomm (Adreno) and ARM (Mali). I'm not saying Samsung should stop updating those drivers on Samsung phone though. They should continue doing that. For instance, my Galaxy A51 is running a Mali driver from September, 2020 and as of the December 2021 patch, there has been no new updates. My Galaxy A52s has Adreno drivers from back in May, 2021. Hopefully they start updating drivers, because it makes a big difference. My GPU benchmark scores in Geekbench on my galaxy A51 for Vulkan nearly doubled and for OpenGL, they increased by over 200 points. This is when they released the new driver in September, 2020 via an OTA update. DRIVER UPDATES MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
I also hope that they make their APIs easy to work for developers like it is with Adreno compared to Mali or we will end up with another case of games not being optimized for the AMD graphics cards, resulting in lower framerates despite them having more raw horsepower. Android 11 has a GPU driver option in developer options so maybe enthusiasts can use the newest drivers or have an app to install new drivers. (Not "optimized" drivers like Samsung's Game drivers, actual new drivers).
