Samsung Galaxy Note 2 much more better than all over phones in the world. Its a greatest device better than Samsung Galaxy SIII and battery is much more better Than Samsung Galaxy S4 . Include most powerful features.

if you've ever used the note 2 its hard to go back to a different phone. the design is a little bland at first but you can really see the quality in the details. my next phone S4 or note 3. give me another phone thats got all the bases covered like the note 2, until then.

Screen, processor 32nm,camera,wolfson chip for audio and music! I switched to note and I can assure that is the best around! Under the sun you can see pretty good even if is an amoled, 2gb ram makes no problem in multitasking this is not possible with 1gb ram! AND IS VERY ELEGANT TO, I FORGOT gorilla glass 2! Battery lasts two days!

I since have rooted it over a month ago with the Android 4.1.2 - Team Union v.3 now. It ALMOST has all of the Note II's features, which include multi-windows and S Pen hover preview. The Note II did lose 80 pixels width compared to the first Galaxy Note of 800 by 1280. I did try comparing the 2 with with same pictures and settings - there is no discerning difference even with different images.
So I don't share your bad perception and I'm getting the Note II next week for Samsung's excellent refurbishment of this line of device model:
*Quad-core processor - smoother graphics
*NFC - file transfers, security, & profile change
*Better S Pen design with better tip texture for drawing
*S Pen physical silo detection & alarm of you leave it behind
*Battery can give 5 hours more of internet browsing
*Slightly bigger new tech screen
*Photo burst function
*Simultaneous video & picture taking
*Compatible with live Allshare video function with S3 & Note 10.1
*Compatible with the wireless All Share Cast HDMI dongle accessories so I can use it for presentations
*2 RAM to give possibility of working on heavier file sizes or more multi-tasking
I plan to root it so I can actually play full HD files more than 4 GB of NTFS format, use Titanium Backup app to never lose any of my app's data, and uninstall/freeze any app.
You need to know what you are talking about before judging than screen brightness.

poor customers who buyed note2-to much money for nothing.note2 is much bad from old note.first camera of old note is better,second display of note2 is bad -old note is much brihter and have natural good colors-dont believe-make a simple test like me-go to some shop and compare two phones.go to settings/brightnes-old note in a halff of scale is like note2 in a top of scale brightnes.so note2 have litle more work time,but in what price-thats not dependig from more capacity of battery/which is not big deal-o,5ah more from old note/.thats depending from display brightnes which is less brighter from old note.

I agreed with you on the photo viewing lag. when I viewed my photos, especially when I zoomed in, when i move the zoomed-photo left and right, the photo movement has noticeable lag when it try to follow my finger
