Ultimately, it’s not meant to mean anything to you , it’s simply a fact that shows Apple enjoy a great deal of success with their business strategies. It’s inconsequential whether you like or don’t like it, it’s just a fact all the same.

So, there were government tax increases that Apple is adhering to.

What’s up with the negative comments here? Do you all not understand how taxes work?

As an Apple user, I find this disgusting. Not only hardware wise gets their cost increased, but also the SW side? Ok, this is getting ridiculous.

Hell, this news article itself is a proof of that. Just look at all the angry whiny people who don't even use an iPhone or App Store yet they absolutely have to disclose their hatred towards Apple. I'm not stereotyping, I'm merely describing observed.

You realise how immature and naive that makes you sound yes?

Apple does enjoy strong brand loyalty, the kind of brand loyalty that other brands spends untold millions per year on marketing desperately trying to replicate. Just maybe there is just something in Apples products their customers seem to appreciate?

It's actually disturbing how many people here don't understand concept of taxes. I want to belive that they just didn't read the article, it's easier that way. :)

Selective reading at its finest. Areas where taxes are going down, the developers get a bigger cut of the pie and no one mentions.

The $3 trillion is the company's worth. You think they have a vault full of cold hard money like Scoorge McDuck?

I am not siding with Apple, but recent articles from GSMARENA has gone downhill. They have employed the way of writing to direct the way people think after reading. Taxes are imposed by the government. We have been feeling this type of pain isn't it? Government increase your tax but your salary doesn't increase. Same situation here.

Trooper, 13 Jan 2022Because the 3 trillion in the bank, just isn't enough...Those are taxes, going to those countries' governments. Are you implying Apple and app developers should avoid paying local taxes?
