14 January 2022
The original Victus was unveiled a year and a half ago and the Galaxy Note20 Ultra was the first to use it.

Plastic best 👌 Glass is bad

GG3 was pretty prone to scratches, but with GG5, I have one tiny little scratch after 3 years. Guess these newer GGs are even better

GAMIR3DH, 15 Jan 2022Then why people complained about it back in the Galaxy S4-S... moreOr why everyone but plasticfantastic fans here on GSMArena complained so much over plastic back on S21 that Samsung is bringing glass back for S22 across entire range. Must be Samsung's random decision lol

GAMIR3DH, 15 Jan 2022Then why people complained about it back in the Galaxy S4-S... moreThe plastic on the S4 and S5 felt super cheap and was ugly. Npo different than an entry level phone so when people compared it to an iPhone or htc they could tell the poor built quality
The plastic on the S21 on the other hand is much better implemented and feels different compared to the plastic on the mid range phones
I'm not defending plastic in any way tho and i do think phones of this price should only use glass and metal

SD-card slot? Then sure I'll buy the S22 ultra version if no, I'll stick on the S20 with sd-card slot.

Elop the Microsoft trojan horse destroyed Nokia from within. Nokia was even forced to make a Windows Mobile tablet (which no one bought). Talk about insult to injury.

Looks like the back of the non-Ultra Galaxy S22 phones will be glossy fingerprint magnets. They could have made the glass a frosted/matte finish.

SpiritWolf, 14 Jan 2022I would choose polycarbonate body of my 808 over glass body... moreYes, those Lumia designs, they really took polycarbonate to an another level and it showed that it can look great if done right. Plastic unibody with matte finish colours. It was cool

Makes sense if we can have a glass that doesn't hold finger prints. that should be the focus now

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2022Plastic back was better for flagships. Then why people complained about it back in the Galaxy S4-S5 days?

S21+ has a glass back. Not plastic. Error in the text.

Personally I'd choose metal over glass, but metal phones are a rarity these days. So I choose glass over plastic.
