I've honestly had no issues with the 6 pro and I use it in a country that's not even officially supported (Romania). To be fair, I don't believe I've installed the November update.

Just recently bought the 6 pro. Only had the November update on it and now I updated it to the January update. I had no issues with my device from the date of purchase. The finger print is working very well. The camera is great and the overall experience is very good. As I also use the iPhone 13 pro max, I can confidently say that they are neck to neck. One is better here the other better there. In the end it depends if you are an Android person or an Apple person. I like experiencing both.

No issues with my Pixel 6 Pro, this thing is a workhorse! Use it at home and at work. No dropped calls, no battery issues, the fingerprint sensor is fine. I have no need to unlock my phone in a split second and the half a second it does take is more than fine. There is all this anger and resentment online about Pixels, yet we have been a Pixel home for years now. Used to have Blackberry phones back in the day, there were always bugs. Switched to iPhone and there is ALWAYS bugs when a new iOS launches. Had a Samsung that I had to wipe and factory reset 4 times in 2 years and even had to unlock the bootloader and install a factory image that way to fix issues I was having. Then I went from Pixel 2 XL, to 4 XL to 6 Pro. It's literally the only type of phone I have kept for more than 2 releases. Wife went from HTC, to LG, to Pixel 2 XL and now a Pixel 5. She said she's impressed that it never slows down.
Everyone is so damn picky these days. Samsung literally had phones blowing up years ago and their re-release was also blowing up. They get forgiven even though their phones have bugs too but not Google. If all these other companies are just so wonderful and Android is just so bad, why aren't they using their own OS? Tizen? Harmony? Yeah, decent features in some small cases but where are they now? Tizen is on TVs and wearables and Harmony OS is going nowhere fast. Maybe, just maybe it's a lot harder than it looks to make a quality OS like Android that dozens of phone makers use because it's free and (gasp!) It works.

They don't have to sell it at a lost, just maybe 10% profit for the basic like the a-series with mid-range SoC to compete with Xiaomi, it'll definitely disrupt their business.

Bottom line: I really like my P6 for the cost of the thing.
Value proposition is outstanding. The camera... Superb.
I've had very few issues personally - and these "delayed" updates...
The majority of the android ecosystem never/rarely updated.

I've been suggesting that if Google wants to be #1, fill the segment that Nokia dominated 20 years ago. Release $99 Pixel phones with Snap700 bare minimum. Google makes most of their revenue through AdSense. They should be handing out Pixels for free so everyone owns it.
This will completely shake up the market. I say sell Pixels at a loss and recoup it all from ads and services. Do what the video game industry has done. Sell hardware at a loss. Make if up with software/services sales.

Didn't really face any issues other people were facing apart from occasional slow fingerprint but that's fine. Maybe it's Karma lol. People getting issues must have pissed off God in a bad way LOL
