This was an issue because the devices started bending themselves inside backpacks while previous models didn't exhibit that kind of behavior.

sa11oum, 18 Jan 2022if they "putted strong metal" it would weigh 5lbs.That's not true and misleading. Same as they did with iPhone 6s after iPhone 6 being reported to be easily bent. Or even for example Surface pro x which is thin and light, but still strong.

S Yu, 16 Jan 2022It can't, glass doesn't inherently resist bending... moreI think he’s being sarcastic. The frame is not that sturdy. But even a stronger Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 can result in a shattered screen when bent and rendered unusable, although not as catastrophic as an iPad Pro.
