Samsung Galaxy A series and Redmi series are not included, because the number of sales is over 200 million devices from each series.

My spouses realme 7 5G has been a great phone. For the price, I don't expect regular updates, nor a great camera. It runs its software very well and the charging blows my 5G galaxy's out of the water. I'm going to weigh importing their new GT 2 series for my next device.

Chinese vendors can showcase gr8 hardware specs on paper. But in terms of hardware quality, software optimizations and reliability, not up to the mark yet. Their intention is to release phones every week in a low budget just to show the sale numbers.

Doesn't matter as their support is trash.
Realme 5 is their best selling model as per graphs but they updated it last in August 2021, the updated was bugged af and till now they haven't provided a fix.

This is nothing compared to the Redmi Note series already 250M. I know redmi note has been out since 2014 but realme still cant do anything to Redmi.

They just had to announce that within days of when we expect the 9 series to be released. It's not marketing at all. ;)
If they have sold 40 million, they would have reached that figure after the 7 Pro, as no-one bought the 8 Pro with its down-graded specs. ;)
